Behind every confident learner is a dedicated team of educators and support staff who nurture, guide and inspire each child daily. At Kidz Inc., our qualified teachers, assistants and support team work together to provide a safe, structured and caring environment where children feel secure, supported and encouraged to grow.

Michelle is the proud owner of Kidz Inc. Teaching has been her lifelong passion. She began her teaching career in 1992, specialising in Remedial Teaching and working with Grade 1 learners for five years. In 1998, she fulfilled her dream of starting her own Nursery School and later purchased the established Kidz Inc Nursery School. Michelle is committed to providing a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment where every child can flourish.

Janet leads our Grade RR class while also serving as Principal of Kidz Inc. In the Fish Class, she creates a structured, happy environment where routines and consistency help prepare learners confidently for Grade R. We follow the SA Childcare curriculum, which is based on the ELDA (Early Learning and Development Areas) framework. This structured programme ensures learners meet and exceed national expectations. Children begin working in books during Grade RR, developing early literacy, numeracy and the confidence to handle formal learning tasks. Janet is a warm and engaging teacher who believes in strong foundations, clear routines and individual attention to ensure every child progresses steadily and is well prepared for the next stage. Computer and drama lessons are included in the school fees.

Our Lion Class prepares learners confidently and thoroughly for formal schooling. Under Teacher Clair’s guidance, children develop strong literacy, numeracy and school readiness skills in a structured environment. We follow the CAPS curriculum and go beyond its requirements to ensure every learner is fully prepared for Grade 1. Our graduates transition smoothly into primary school, and we consistently receive excellent feedback on their standard and readiness. Each child’s progress is closely monitored to ensure they meet — and often exceed — Grade R expectations. Clair is deeply passionate about education and committed to high standards. She combines warmth with firm, consistent discipline, creating a classroom where learners thrive. Many children remember her years later for the way she made them feel — and for her familiar words, “I love you lots and lots like jellytots.”

Barbara and Fridah have worked together in our Baby Section for many years, creating a loving and secure space for our tiniest learners. While they follow the SA Childcare curriculum, their greatest strength is the warmth and reassurance they bring to every baby in their care. Gentle, patient, and experienced, they nurture each child as their own — feeding, changing, cuddling, singing, and supporting early development through play. They are always on the floor with the little ones, fully present and engaged. Parents often share how their babies happily reach for them each morning, and many families return because of the love and care their children receive. In this classroom, love comes first — and Barbara and Fridah make it a truly happy place to grow.
